| White Shadow Season 3 Synopsis The White Shadow's Third and Final Season underwent a large cast turnover. New team members include Larry Flash Jenkins as Wardell Stone, Wolfe Perry as Teddy Rutherford, Stoney Jackson as Jesse B. Mitchell, John Laughlin as Patty Falahey, and Art Holliday as Eddie Franklin. Also, Sybil Buchanan has become principal, replacing the departed Jim Willis. In addition, former NFL player Rosey Grier joins the cast at this time as wrestling coach Ezra Davis. Despite its lukewarm ratings, The White Shadow's Third Season had some very memorable episodes and enjoyed a healthy fan following amongst loyal viewers, especially those in big cities. The series also won an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Directing", and was nominated in several other categories. The White Shadow ran until August 12, 1981. |
